Defending champion Mardy Fish will meet fellow American John Isner in the final of the Atlanta Tennis Championships for the second consecutive year.

World number nine Fish ensured he would defend his crown after he cast aside 19-year-old compatriot Ryan Harrison 6-2 6-4.

That set up a re-match of last year’s final after Isner edged a big-serving duel with Luxembourg’s Gilles Muller 7-5 6-7 (7/3) 6-1 in two hours and 29 minutes.

Third seed Isner fired down 28 aces, and while Muller weight in with 16 of his own, it was not enough to prevent another all-American final.
