Megan Belger (Bloomer, Bloomer) and Maranda Dohrn (Lake City, MN, Lake City) will both compete in two events in the NCAA track & field National Meet that will start on Thursday.

Belger will compete in the 200 and 400 meter events. Belger has the 19th best time in the 200 – 25:12. She has the 20th best time in the 400 – 57.07. She ran her best 200 time and 400 time at the WIAC Meet at UW-Platteville in early May. The 200 preliminaries will be run at 7 p.m., on Thursday. The 400 preliminaries will be held on Friday at 6:15 p.m.

Dohrn will compete in the high jump and shot put events. Dohrn has the 13th best leap in the high jump – 5-5 3/4. She jumped that at the WIAC Meet at UW-Platteville in early May. She has he 24th best shot put effort with a throw of 43-4 1/4, and she threw that at the WIAC Meet. The shot put will be at 6 p.m., on Friday and the high jump will be held starting at noon on Saturday.

The NCAA meet will be at Ohio Wesleyan University and will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
