The Bruins have outscored Vancouver 17-3 in three wins in Boston. However, the deciding game will be played Wednesday (8 p.m. ET, NBC) in Vancouver, where the Canucks have won three games by a combined score of 5-2.
“We’re going to put this behind us as soon as possible and get ready for a dream of playing in a Game 7 of a Stanley Cup,” said Vancouver goalie Roberto Luongo, who was pulled for the second time in the series.
The Canucks will try to be the first team since the 2003 New Jersey Devils to win four home games en route to Stanley Cup title.
Maranda Dohrn (Lake City, MN, Lake City) compted in the high jump on Saturday at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National meet held at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delware, Ohio.
Dohrn, a junior, finished in a tie for 14th place with a leap of 5-3 3/4. The event started at a height of 5-1 3/4 and Dohrn missed on her first attempt but made the height on her second attempt. At 5-3 3/4, she once again missed on her first attempt, but made the height on the second try. Dohrn missed on all three of her tries at 5-5 3/4.
